Refunds and cancellations
Refunds are yours to decide. Because sales run through your own Stripe account, you issue them there and you set the policy.
Issuing a refund
Open your Stripe dashboard, find the payment, and refund it. It goes back to your buyer's card in five to ten days, which is your bank's timing rather than anything we control.
What happens to the ticket
| You issue | What happens |
|---|---|
| A full refund | The ticket stops working and the seat goes back on sale automatically. |
| A partial refund | The ticket stays valid and they still get in โ the right call when you're giving money back but still hosting them. |
Our fee on a refunded ticket
Nesso's 3% isn't returned when you refund. The card processing on the original sale isn't recoverable either, and a refund is your decision rather than a fault in the sale, so the fee stands.
On a $20 ticket that's 60ยข. It's stated here so it's never a surprise on a statement.
Cancelling or moving an event
If you need to cancel or move a date, get in touch with me directly and we'll handle it together โ refunding everyone who bought, and getting word out to them. Don't delete the event: that would destroy the record of what was sold, and it's blocked once anyone has paid.
