At the door

Check-in and scanning

Every ticket is a QR code that works exactly once. Scanning takes about a second per person.

Getting to the scanner

Open your group's page in the app and tap Check In Tickets. That's the scanner that redeems tickets.

Not the other scanner

The QR scanner on your own profile is for connecting with people, and it ignores ticket codes entirely. If scans seem to do nothing, you're probably in that one. Go to your group's page instead.

What you'll see

A valid ticket shows the buyer's first name and which tier they bought, and is marked used immediately. Scan the same code again and it tells you it's already been redeemed — so a screenshot passed to a friend gets caught at the door.

Two people scanning the same code at the same moment is handled too: exactly one gets the green light.

Before doors

Check your signal

The scanner checks each ticket against your live sales, so it needs a working connection. Venue Wi-Fi in a basement at 11pm is the usual culprit. Test a scan when you arrive, and if the signal is thin, bring a hotspot or have someone tether. Two minutes of preparation here saves a queue later.

Bring a second phone

Any of your group's admins can scan, on their own phone, at the same time. Two scanners halves your queue, and there's no extra setup — they just open the same screen.
