You keep 100% of your ticket price.
Our fee is 3%, and your buyer pays it — along with card processing. List a ticket at $20 and you receive $20. There's no listing fee, no monthly fee, and nothing charged for an event that doesn't sell.

Rounding always goes your way, which is why that's a cent over your list price.
How that number is worked out
Your buyer sees a single Service fee line at checkout. It covers two things:
- Card processing — 2.9% + 30¢, charged by Stripe, not by us.
- Nesso's 3% — calculated on your list price, so 60¢ on a $20 ticket.
Those aren't simply added together. Stripe takes its percentage of whatever the card is actually charged, so the total has to be worked backwards until what's left equals your list price exactly. That's why the combined figure comes to roughly 6.1% + 31¢ rather than a flat 5.9% + 30¢.
We round the final cent up rather than down, so you're never paid less than you listed.
Your first event is free
The first event you sell tickets to on Nesso carries no platform fee at all — your buyers still cover card processing, but our 3% comes off. It applies automatically to the first event that sells a ticket, so there's nothing to claim and no code to enter. From your second event on, the 3% above applies.
What your buyer pays
Card processing includes a flat 30¢, so the amount added at checkout is proportionally bigger on cheap tickets and smaller on expensive ones. Your side never changes — you receive your list price at every level.

Most of what's added isn't us. On that $20 ticket, 92¢ of the $1.53 goes to Stripe and 60¢ to Nesso.
Free tickets are free
A tier priced at $0 carries no fee at all — nothing goes through checkout, so there's nothing for anyone to charge. Run a free event and Nesso costs you nothing.

The 2.9% + 30¢ above is the standard US card rate, and it's what the checkout total is built on. A small number of cards — some international ones, for instance — cost more than that to process, and on those the difference comes out of your side rather than your buyer's. It's cents rather than dollars, and we're working on charging it through properly. Better you hear it here than notice it yourself.
